SRC Moto Honda CRF300L Radiator Guard Review

The Honda CRF300L’s radiator is vulnerable in a crash. Before buying the bike, a few friends and owners of the L had warned me about this after crashing their own bikes and smashing their rads. So, figuring out how to protect it was at the top of my list.

Luckily, USA firm SRC Moto produce a beautifully made laser-cut 2mm thick stainless steel guard.

The flimsy stock plastic guard was whipped straight off and SRC’s guard fitted in under ten minutes.

It features a honey-comb grill which protects the radiator itself from stones, insects and debris. But it also affixes to the frame itself which makes the setup feel far sturdier than the stock that uses a little plastic clip.

If you’re going to be riding your Honda CRF300L off-road, we’d recommend opting for a radiator guard, and the one supplied by SRC is high quality, exceptionally well-made, solid and is an excellent replacement.
