Features
The Rev’it Ladies Tornado 3 trousers are a pair of three-season adventure bike trousers for women. They come with a removable Hydratex Lite liner that’s both waterproof and warm. But I got these trousers specifically for warmer conditions – and they didn’t disappoint.
The trousers feature extra large shell mesh panels on both the upper and lower legs to allow loads of air to flow through them and they do an excellent job.
CE-level 2 Seeflex armour is fitted at the knees and there’s Seesmart protectors on the hips too.
There are easily adjustable straps on the hips and tabs on the calves.
What’s good?
These trousers are exceptionally comfortable and absolutely brilliant at letting air flow through them in hot weather. They’re well-made, easy to live and ride in every day and do their job perfectly.
What’s not?
This isn’t an issue for me, but it may be for some so I’ll mention it here. The trousers come with two slit pockets at the top and I love that about them. I definitely do not want big hefty pockets on the thighs like most adventure trousers have. And that’s because they make thighs look super wide! But some ladies out there might want side pockets, so bear that in mind.
There was one negative for me though, and that was the knee protectors. Despite trying to adjust the knee pads I could never get them in the right position. So, make sure you try them on before you buy them to make sure they fit your body shape and sit in the right position first.
