Features

The Dango Design Gripper secures your action camera to your helmet. It’s simple but exceptionally effective. Attach your GoPro, Insta360 or DJI action camera to the mount and just open the gripper, place it over your helmet’s chin bar and it securely grips into place. Easy!

The gripper comes in red, blue, yellow or black and you can purchase it with an additional adapter for £59.99 total or on its own for £49. The adapter is just an extension for your camera so you can alter its position more easily.

What’s good?

What’s great is how simple and easy to use this mount is. It actually encourages us to film more because there’s no faff involved. There’s no annoying straps, glue, bolts or sticky pads. Just clip it on and clip it off! When not in use, we just clip it to the handlebars or the top box so it’s quick access.

Dango say the device is compatible with 99% of full-face helmets, which we can’t vouch for, but I have used it on both a flip front and enduro helmet and it’s worked perfectly every time, never budged or slipped.

What’s not?

The only niggle is the £50 price tag. It is expensive for what is effectively a mount, but it’s clear it’s very, very well-made and when you’re carrying an expensive action camera, you want to know it’s securely fitted.

Round up

If you want excellent point of view riding footage on your bike trips, whether riding hard enduro, adventure biking or touring, the Dango Design gripper is a must. Minimal fuss, can mount and dismount in milliseconds, it’s tough, secure and does its job brilliantly.
